- Harrogate’s Flower Show
This historic spectacle celebrated its 100th anniversary last year and continues to prove an annual delight for garden and nature lovers from all around. Taking place in May, the show kicks off a blooming amazing array of show gardens, floral artwork, and diverse plant nurseries, providing the ultimate inspiration for your garden. Not only that, but the programme is bursting with live music and entertainment, crafts and gift stalls, as well as local shopping to ensure the perfect day out for everyone.
- Nidderdale Agricultural Show
This big day out, affectionately known as the ‘Pateley Show’ locally, is a traditional Yorkshire Dales agricultural show where visitors are treated to a wonderful display of the finest livestock, crafts, and fresh produce the Dales have to offer. Held in the picturesque surroundings of Bewerly Park, the show is one of the UK’s best agriculture events attracting around 20,000 visitors every year. With the event scheduled for September 2021, organisers are confident this famous event will go ahead and are hoping for a great turnout!
- Great Yorkshire Show
The Great Yorkshire Show is England’s premier agricultural event, with a history stretching back to 1837. COVID-19 restrictions meant the event had to be held virtually last year. However, organisers have announced that the event will go ahead in July 2021 much to the delight of the thousands who attend and take part every year. Much of the show’s events centre around British animals. From horse riding shows to pig, goat, and sheep rings at the Grand Cattle Show, revellers have the chance to see plenty of live and interactive events – even goat milking competitions! The programme also includes a plethora of live music and family activities, cooking shows (including the odd appearance from celebrity chefs!), market stalls, and a whole range of countryside fun.
